I have nannied the past four summers and have babysat for family local neighbors or friends for about seven years. I love children, and I'm currently a sophomore in college studying nursing and intending on attending medical school in the near future. My hopes are to someday work with pediatrics, so you can believe that I really do have a passion for children. I was raised in a home with two working parents and we always had nannies or babysitters. My brother and I enjoyed being in our on home and playing games with the sitter rather than being in a day care. I feel like I do a great job applying what I know I wanted as a child and trying to allow that for other children, to an extent, depending on the parents wants and needs. I am in class, but I have been able to work with two families while in school, as long as your schedule is flexible I feel like we can work together. Unfortunately, one family moved and the other's schedule has changed.
